A high-speed chase that began in Burleson County Friday afternoon, ended in Brazos County.
The chase began around 1:30 p.m., and involved state troopers and law enforcement from Burleson County.
DPS troopers said the female driver stole the vehicle out of the Somerville area, then fled from authorities into Brazos County and through College Station.
She eventually drove over spike strips thrown by officers on Highway 6. The vehicle was detained near the intersection of Highway 6 and Navasota Ridge. Multiple agencies were involved.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody.
