BURTON ISD TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL SCHOOL BREAKFAST WEEK
Next week is National School Breakfast Week, and Burton ISD has some special events planned to celebrate.
Thursday and Friday, March 5th and 6th, Burton ISD will host Muffins with MOM or Someone Special, and Donuts with DAD or Someone Special. Parents are invited to come enjoy breakfast alongside their students those days from 7:30 to 7:55 a.m.
The theme for National School Lunch Week this year is “Save the Day with a Healthy School Breakfast”.
School officials remind students to keep a healthy breakfast in their diet, with milk, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.
