BURTON SCHOOL BOARD STILL TRYING TO SELL OLD SCHOOL
The Burton School District has been trying to sell its old elementary school for about two years and Supt. Jim Palmer says when they meet tonight (Monday), the school board will keep trying.
The district quit using the old school after voters approved a $7 million bond issue in 2007, that built among other things a new school.
The Burton School board is also expected to purchase from used school buses by making a budget amendment for $120,000.
The Burton School Board meet tonight (Monday) at 6:30 at the school district’s administrative offices at 701 North Railroad Street.
