BURTON TRUSTEES HOLDING SPECIAL SESSION TONIGHT

  

Burton Trustees will meet in executive session with an attorney at tonight’s (Monday) meeting.

The Board will discuss pending matters with the attorney, and look at personnel, district safety and security behind closed doors.  Once out of executive session, they will possibly act upon the matters discussed.

The Board will also consider an additional Pre-K position, and look at the duties and discipline of a public officer.  They will also openly discuss district safety and security with the public.

Last week’s meeting had many disgruntled citizens come forward to air concerns regarding discipline and how their complaints were being handled.

Tonight’s Board meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Office of the Burton Independent School District, located at 701 North Railroad Street.
