President  Bush completed his four year tenure as U.S. President over 20 years ago but he has continued to be a big presence in our country and certainly in the Brazos Valley.

The 41st president’s Presidential Library is on the Texas A&M Campus in College Station and they are planning a big bash for him on his 90th birthday today (Thursday)

The Presidential Library will have a celebration of the birthday until 3pm there will be cake, Blue Bell Ice Cream, soft drinks, and coffee in the rotunda of the Library.

Since he left office, the former president has developed a knack for wearing colorful and often mismatched socks.  Organizers for the birthday event are encouraging to wear your craziest socks  as you celebrate the presidential birthday.

Museum visitors are invited to fun at no cost.
