  1. On behalf of me, my family, and the Fant Ranch family, I wish to offer our most heartfelt condolences to the Glasco family and their friends for the loss of one of the finest gentleman I’ve had the privilege to know. I have had the pleasure of working on some projects with Troy, some of his family members and their professional staff over the last few years. Troy will be so missed by all that have met him and the lives he has touched…he left this world, truly, a more beautiful and happy place…we can only aspire to follow his example. We pray for comfort and serenity to the Glasco Family.

  2. Our condolences to The Glasco Family. Our community will miss Troy’s love,smile,heart-filled spirit for each person he met.To God be the glory.give Tami &family strength during their bereavement.

  3. My heart sank when I got the news of Mr. Troy’s passing. He was truly a good man who ALWAYS showed the love of Christ to others. Every time we saw him he would give us big hugs an spend time talking with us. My kids loved to see him because they would always play. He’d pick my daughter up, flip her in the air and tickle her. After hearing about his passing, they shared with me that they had just seen him in our neighborhood while they were riding their bikes. He slowed down, gave them that big smile and waved.
Mrs. Tami, we love you guys. We will continue to pray for strength and comfort for you, your family, Champion Fellowship and our community. May God give us all the peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7.

  4. I met Troy years ago through our landscape contractors’ association and knew this was a man of strong faith and character. Several years ago he was gracious enough to allow me to visit his business and talk with key employees. I’m thankful to have experienced this man.

I thank God for Troy’s faithful witness and I pray for God’s grace, comfort and peace for Tami and family.

    His brother in Christ,

    Len Gallagher

  5. Ten years ago I had started a small business and Troy was one of our first customers. It didn’t take long before I placed more value in his friendship than his business even though his business was one of the main reasons why we are still in business today.
You and God are probably working on a project already.
What a legacy you leave behind.
I salute you Mr. Troy and only strive to live up to your standards and values that you lived every day.

  6. I went to high school with Troy and he was always very friendly to everyone. This was not always the case in the mid 70’s with integration still being fairly new. He was liked by all and was a great athlete and student. Much prayer going out to his family.

  7. It took me a moment to realize that it was Troy the Facebook post was referring too. I am still at a lost for words. I attended elementary, junior and senior high school with Troy and Tammi. My heart and prayers go out to the family.

  8. I’ve known Troy since 1990. I’ve known him to be a hard working man of good character, integrity and strong faith. A man who always did what he said he would do and followed his heart as it led him in helping others. He has been an important positive influence in my life as I worked at getting my ministry started and growing. Our condolences to Tami and all his family. We pray for comfort and peace for the entire family and know that he will be deeply missed and not forgotten.

  12. The loss of a loved one is always difficult to deal with. Especially if that loss seems much too early. Troy left us way too early. Troy was a really good man and a great Christian brother. My prayer for Tami and the rest of the family is to draw close to God and lean on Him. He knows what you are going through. Troy will be greatly missed but there is hope and a surety that you will see him again. It was a blessing to know Troy.

  13. Sending prayers to the entire family at this most difficult time. It’s always hard to lose a loved one & even harder when that person is so great. I know that they will have a very special Guardian Angel looking down on them from above, sending them love & support during this time.

  14. I was shocked and dismayed after hearing what happened to Troy. The community has lost a great man of God but I know that he rejoices with his savior. Prayers goes out to his family, friends and church during this difficult time. May God surround each of you with His Comfort and Love.

great legacy and will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family.

  17. Glasco took care of my Mom’s house for approximately 16 years. There were a lot of times when Troy was out there planting her seasonal flowers himself. My Mom loved him and his employees. Troy took care of her place like it was his. God bless his family during this time.

  18. Our prayers are with the family, god bless!! Stephan and maria cadwallade

  19. I grew up with Troy Glasco. There was a group of kids who worked on the golf course. Troy, Howard, David Wayne, Tim Glasco and me. Forgive me if I left anyone out. Troy was always a hard worker. We all looked up to Troy. I believe he was a natural born Leader. From what I am hearing from these post, I know I’m right. Troy’s Dad and my Dad were friends. Troy lost his Dad to cancer. Years later so did I. Theresa and Troy were at my Dad’s funeral. I went to shake his hand and he just grabbed me and gave me a huge hug. That was the most comfort I felt all day. I really didn’t know Troy after High School. I do know He was a Decent, Loving, Caring good Christian Man! He is in the Hands of the Lord. His life is a testament to the power of the ALL MIGHTY! My family and me are so very sad to hear of this. Our prayers and Love go out to all the Glasco Family. May GOD grant you all with the Peace that passes All Understanding.

  23. ——to God be ‘ALL’ the glory!!! I do not know this man all speaks of, but if all that is being said is true, just think how much more our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ must be saying and feeling about him!!!! God knows him better than anyone, and his work has not gone unnoticed by him. God rewards faithfulness, and Troy will receive his just rewards. May God continue to strengthen his family, love ones, business partners, co-workers, and friends as they learn how to accept his will. May they become what Troy has been—-loving, kind, thoughtful, obedient, and full of Christ. My prayers are that Troy’s life be a testament to all of us and make each of us want to live and do better. 25. Troy was a special young man with a wonderful family. As his former pastor many years ago I remember Troy as a dynamic Christian believer and faithful husband. We had some great times in those days. We are praying for Tammy and the kids. God’s plans are sometimes difficult to understand. This is one of those times. Our hearts are sad today but Troy’s reward is in heaven. Ours will be to come through Jesus Christ our Lord. We love you Tammy!

  26. A really GOOD and DECENT person at a time when there are too few of them. It is a loss for everyone. Prayers for his family and those he loved and who loved him.
He who does for himself in this life takes it with him, he who does for others leaves it behind. Troy did much for others and leaves it behind, including the wonderful memories.
He will be missed but never forgotten.

  27. I am so sorry for your loss, GOD be with you during your time of sorrow.

  28. A Godly family! A Godly man! Troy Glasco was one of a kind with a genuine compassion for others. While seated at a sandwich shop, Troy overhead the sadness in the voice of a lady who was talking. He pulled out his cell and shared a scripture . He gave her his phone so that she could read it for herself. Talk about sharing the gospel! Too numerous to count the innumerable times the family shared that winning smile and a beautiful hug! May we all be so kind as to share God’s love in this way! Truly Troy’s life was a life of love! I will miss you dear friend!

  29. We had made up our minds to hired Troy (or Glasco) even before PIC moved to Brenham. During our property search and during construction we saw his work all around town and had made up our minds to hire them once we took possession of the facility. To say it was a lack of choices just would not be true as his work around town was above and beyond what we had even seen in Houston. I considered Troy a friend and he always did right by me and PIC. He and his crew took care of our facility as it was their own. He will be sorely missed in our community as he was a good man and community leader and set an example for those aspiring to be more.

  30. Troy was one of the kindest and most generous men in Washington county. He lived his faith in Christ by example and if you met him, you had a friend. This dear man will be sorely missed throughout the community. He was an example of how to live right in God’s eyes. Prayers his whole family.

  31. Really sad to hear about Troy. He and his family are the sweetest folks you would ever want to meet. Each of them would give their shirt off their back for you. And share their faith and love for the Lord with everyone. Troy you will be dearly missed by many.

    1. Troy was a friend to all. He was a great example of a loving husband, son, parent and above all
a servent for God. So sad he had to be taken so soon. I can hear God saying “Well done, My
good and faithful servant”. Our thoughts and prayers to Tami and her family.
