BUTCHER’S BALL AT ROCKIN’ STAR RANCH SUNDAY
Rockin’ Star Ranch in Brenham is hosting the 3rd Annual Butcher’s Ball this weekend.
Chefs, farmers and ranchers will meet in Brenham on Sunday for competition, to see who can win the Golden Cleaver. There will be plenty of other activities offered, including butchery and cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, classes, and live music hosted by Kinky Friedman.
In addition, there will be a farmer’s market, silent auction, and no shortage of food or drink. Money raised from the Butcher’s Ball will go directly to Urban Harvest’s Farmers Market Program, which will help them support a local food system for Houston.
The event takes place on Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Rockin’ Star Ranch, which can be found at 8002 Fuelberg Pease Road in Brenham. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit www.butchersball.com. Bus tickets to and from the Butcher’s Ball to Houston are also being sold.
