CALDWELL HOME DESTROYED IN FIRE

  

A Caldwell home was destroyed in a fire early this (Tuesday) morning.

Multiple volunteer fire departments responded to the home on the corner of 5th and North Broadway around 6 a.m.

Officials say it took approximately 30 to 40 minutes before crews were able to get the fire under control.

The family of five that lives in the house is safe, and no injuries have been reported in connection with the fire.

At least half of the home was completely destroyed in the fire, with the other half suffering extensive smoke damage.

The cause of the fire in under investigation, however the family reported they believe it may have started with their dryer.
