CALDWELL TO HOLD CHRISTMAS ON THE SQUARE

  

The annual “Christmas on the Square” will be held Thurs.-Sat., Dec. 4-6, on the square in Downtown Caldwell.

The annual event has become one of the city’s most memorable family events.

New to this year's attractions are 30,000 lbs. of ice to make real snow for the ice slide on Fri. night along with "An Evening with Charles Dickens" Coffee & Dessert show on Fri. night and a Dinner show on Sat. night.

Competitions include a "Red & Green" Championship for chili, beans, margaritas and youth hot chocolate, Lighted Rudy 5K, "Deck the Halls" store front, Holiday Pet Show, Holiday Wreaths, Gingerbread Houses and residential lighting contest.

Entertainment is scheduled for the Friday night Old Fashioned Christmas on the Square program and on the main stage Sat. afternoon following the Christmas parade.

Sign-up the little ones for "Elf School" on Sat., 1-4pm for a chance to win a bike from Halliburton.

Enjoy ice skating on the corner of Fox and Echols Streets on Thurs.-Sat.
