CANDIDATES READY FOR SPECIAL ELECTION TOMORROW

  

Election Day for the Special Election for State Senator, District 18 is tomorrow, with voting times being from 7am to 7pm.

Republicans Lois Kolkhorst, Charles Gregory, and Gary Gates have signaled that they are ready for the election.

KWHI has tried extensively to speak with the Democratic opponents Christian Hawkins and Cindy Drabek to get their perspective on the election and the issues at hand, but were unsuccessful in the attempt.

The Senate seat is being sought after by Lois Kolkhorst after she announced that she would run for the seat vacated by Senator Glen Hager after he won his bid for State Comptroller.

Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel wants voters to know that If there is a voter who is physically unable to enter the polling place, curbside voting will be offered to that voter.

Voters are also reminded to bring a photo ID to the polling place.
