CHANGE IN VENUE FOR GIDDINGS HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL FUNDRAISER

  

Changes have been announced for a hamburger fundraiser this (Thursday) afternoon, benefitting the Giddings High School baseball program.

The fundraiser comes after a fire Wednesday at the baseball field house destroyed much of the JV and Varsity team’s equipment.

This afternoon’s fundraiser will now take place at the football field concession stand, due to the increased size.  Meals can be picked up after 5 p.m., drive-thru only.  Meals will include a hamburger, chips, drink, and homemade dessert.

Drivers interested in picking up a meal are asked to come down the middle school road and enter by the softball field.  They will be directed over to the football field concession stand.  Exit will be out the main school entry onto Highway 77.

KTEX-106’s Holly Ryder will be out in Giddings this afternoon, broadcasting live from the friendly country cruiser.
