This week’s Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be hosted by a member of Edward Jones, along with Texana Public Affairs.
Katie Matthews of Edward Jones will host the event being held Thursday at the Rock Store, on 5070 Main Street in downtown Chappell Hill from 5 to 7 p.m. Matthews is a financial advisor with Edward Jones, as well as one of the Chappell Hill Chamber board members.
Texana Public Affairs, owned by Joel and Denise Romo, is a legislative and public affairs firm with over 25 years of local, state and federal experience. The firm is currently working with clients such as Blinn College and the Cooper Institute in Dallas, on topics like higher education and public health issues.
Chappell Hill Chamber President John Wick says he is looking forward to providing community members another chance to network and learn about businesses in Chappell Hill and Washington County.
All chamber members, as well as those interested in joining the chamber, are invited to attend and bring their business cards. There will be catered food from several establishments, like Royer’s Round Top Café, along with beverages from Mike Hopkins Distributing.
