CHAPPELL HILL CELEBRATES THE FOURTH
Chappell Hill hosted the state’s largest and best small town parade Monday morning.
The annual Chappell Hill Fourth of July Parade got started at 10:00 a.m., on Main Street, for the 40th year in a row.
The parade, as always, was highlighted by the World Famous Marching Kazoo Band
The parade featured numerous floats, including special floats for Veterans and for the county’s First Responders – especially those who went above and beyond the call of duty during the recent flooding.
The winning entries this year included:
1st Prize: The Randermann Family “Cheers for the Red, White & Blue”
2nd Prize: The Chappell Hill Hot Tub Society
3rd Prize: The Metzger/Fisher Families “Kids Kamp”
Best Business: Revolution Printing of Chappell Hill
Best Kids Entry: Ursula Brown Family “Presidential Front-Runners: Lola & Maggie”
