A Washington Co. man has been arrested and charged in an armed robbery in Bryan, Wednesday night.

44-year old Steven Goodson of Chappell Hill was arrested after a late night armed robbery the Valero on North Earl Rudder Freeway, which led to an hours-long search.

Goodson reportedly abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot.  Authorities continued to use the tracker and followed him to a wooded area in Bryan where local police and DPS, assisted by a K9 unit and helicopter found him.

Goodson reportedly tried to flee again, before he was tasered and taken into custody.
