CHAPPELL HILL WOMAN SENTENCED TO 14 MONTHS IN JAIL

A Washington County woman has been sentenced to jail time in the latest session of 21st District Court.
40-year old Shanda Fern Knight of Chappell Hill has been sentenced to 14 months behind bars for Theft less than $1500 with two previous convictions.
Also in court this week:
28-year old Bobbi Jean Cheatham of Brenham had her probation revoked and was sentenced to eight months in jail for a 2008 conviction for Securing Execution of a Document by Deception. Cheatham was also ordered to pay over $4770 in restitution.
40-year old Martin Hightower of Houston was placed on four years’ probation for Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. He was also fined $1500 and ordered to perform 160 hours of Community Service.
And, 28-year old Justin Jemide Ashima of Houston was place on three years’ probation for Criminal Mischief. He was also fined $750 and ordered to pay $1750 in restitution.
