The City Council is expected to ask the accounting firm of Seidel, Schroeder and Company to perform an audit for the fiscal year that ends in September. The Council will also receive and review the second quarter financial report and vote on the June 4th pre-budget workshop.  Brenham City Manager Terry Roberts says the Council and the city staff is in the preliminary stages of forming the budget for the next fiscal year.  Roberts says the budget workshops will keep the City Council busy in the next few weeks.

The City Council will also take up the purchase of a refurbished vertical cardboard baler nad purchase a 2014 trench roller for the Brenham fleet program.

The City Council will have a workshop session about improvements to Burleson Street along with some other road projects.

In another workshop item, the City Council will get a presentation about permitting and inspection fees, code enforcement and the fire marshal’s office.

The Brenham City Council meets Thursday at one at city hall.
