CITY & COUNTY OFFICES CLOSED ON MONDAY

  

The City of Brenham and Washington County will be observing the Fourth of July holiday, Monday.

Brenham’s City Hall and the Washington County courthouse will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

The city-operated collection station and recycling center will be closed, and there will be no residential or commercial trash pickup.

Both facilities will reopen Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. for normal operating hours.

The city has also announced a schedule for garbage bag distribution to residential customers.

City residents with Monday and Thursday trash pickup will receive bags July 13. Those with Tuesday and Friday trash pickup will receive bags July 20.
