CITY OF BRENHAM, BRENHAM ISD HOSTING “SCIENCE, STORYTELLING, SCHOOL BUS AND SNO CONES” THURSDAY

The City of Brenham and Brenham ISD are gearing up to celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month on Thursday.

From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., the two will host “Science, Storytelling, School Bus and Sno Cones” at the Finke Pavilion at Fireman’s Park.

The day will get started at 9:30 a.m. with an action-packed and educational alien adventure.  Community Services Specialist Crystal Locke says there will be some pretty interesting science experiments used to create special effects.

At 10:30 a.m., the Brenham ISD Magic School Bus will make an appearance.  Guests are invited to grab a sno cone and read a book, or play games like checkers or Connect Four.

Locke says while the free program is geared toward students in kindergarten through fifth grade, the whole morning will be full of learning and fun for everyone.
