CITY OF BRENHAM BUILDING PERMITS DOWN FROM OCTOBER

  

 Building permits issued by the city of Brenham were down slightly for November.

During the month, the city issued 33 permits valued at 1.3 million dollars, with the largest permit being for the Brenham Main Street Historical Society for $385,000 for new bathroom facilities and hallway access.

During October, the city issued 40 permits, for a total of 2.4 million dollars.

These numbers are up from November 2013, when only 21 permits were issued

There were three permits for new residence, which totaled approximately $260,000
