CITY OF BRENHAM TO HOLD ANNEXATION TOWN HALL MEETING

The City of Brenham is hosting a special Town Hall Meeting this week to give citizens a chance to ask any questions about the annexation process.

The city is considering the annexation of nearly 240 acres of land.

The locations of the land are:

44 acres of land in the Southwest Industrial Park, bounded by Industrial Boulevard, FM 332 and FM 389.

6/10ths of an acre at Scenic Estates, along the west side of Old Masonic Road.

And, about 195 acres on the east side of Farmer’s Road between FM 380 and Old Mill Creek Rd., and the north side of Old Mill Creek Rd. between the current city limit line and Jackson Creek.

The meeting will be held at 5:30, Tuesday evening in the City Council Chambers at 200 West Vulcan St.

  1. We have family property that the city of Brenham annexed ten years ago. We have paid ten years of city taxes. All we have received is broken promises for our tax dollars. No city sewer, no city water. I went to the meetings for annexation and listened to promises that are now lies. There are no excuses, just lies.
