Earlier this year, the city received federal funds designated for the purchase of personal protective equipment (PPE).

After the city purchased what it needed, federal regulations allowed the city to share the remaining funds, totaling $79,300, with Caldwell ISD.

After unanimous approval by the Caldwell City Council, Mayor Norris McManus and City Manager Camden White presented the school district with the donation earlier this month.

Caldwell ISD Superintendent Andrew Peters said he appreciates that the city and school district can “work together for our community.”
