UPDATE – GAS LEAK ON A&M CAMPUS – ALL CLEAR
Update: Authorities on the Texas A&M campus have given the "all clear" for the gas leak that occurred around noon today. All buildings are now safe to enter, all closed streets are now open.
A portion of the Texas A&M campus is currently evacuated due to a gas leak at their Central Utility Plant.
The buildings evacuated include: Hobby, Neely, Hotard, Sbisa, and the Northgate Post Office.
Streets closed on the campus are:Ross Street, Houston Street, Hogg Street, Asbury Street, New Street, and Ireland Street.
Reed Arena will open for residents. Sections 111-115 are open and can be accessed through the Reed Arena Main Entrance.Transportation Services will be running a shuttle from Fish Pond (picking up on the Jones Street side of Fish Pond) to Reed Arena to assist with the evacuation.
