COLLEGE STATION HIRES NEW CITY MANAGER

The City of College Station has named its next city manager.

Bryan Woods

Bryan Woods was appointed by a unanimous vote at Thursday's city council meeting and will begin work, Monday, December 3.

Woods currently serves as the assistant city manager of New Braunfels.  He served as New Braunfels's Capital Programs Manager from 2014 to 2017, when he was appointed Assistant City Manager.  Prior to 2014, Woods worked at construction and engineering firms in the San Antonio area.

Woods was named from a field of four finalists and fills the role previously held by Kelly Templin, who left the city in March to lead Texas A&M's RELLIS Campus.
