COMMISSIONERS APPROVE AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT WITH KOLKHORST PETROLEUM

  

The Washington County Commissioners approved amendment 1 of the existing contract between Washington County and Kolkhorst Petroleum for providing liquid fuel at the fleet-station/pump. Amendment 1 now reflects the purchase of Kolkhorst Petroleum by Stripes LLC. Amendment 1 was also approved to reflect the agreement for Stripes to continue to provide fuel to the County at the agreed price.

The first amendment to the Advanced Community Paramedicine Services Agreement between College Station Hospital, L.P., College Station Medical Center, and the Washington County Department of Emergency Medical Services was approved in order to expand the scope of the ACP program and to reflect the program goals.

Commissioners approved the closing of Cedar Street east from FM 1155, 250 yards before the Chappell Hill Historical Society’s Circulating Library for the Chappell Hill Annual Independence Day Parade on July 4th from 7:00am to noon. Sycamore Street west from FM 1155 to FM 2447 and Poplar Street from FM 1155 to Church Street were also approved to close for the parade.

A donation for Washington County Flood Recovery was approved. That $100 donation will be given to Faith Mission for assisting flood victims. Also approved during this morning’s meeting: a formal notice for a proposed buried utility line on Hartstack and Homeyer Mountain roads in precinct 4, accounts payable, and fairgrounds contracts for a birthday party, a retirement party, and a quinceanera.
