COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS NEW VEHICLE PURCHASE
The Washington County Commissioners will discuss the purchase of a vehicle from the City of Burton, when they meet Tuesday morning.
Last month, the Burton City Council approved the sale of the city’s recently purchased police patrol vehicle. Burton has not had a police officer since Chief Greg Rolling resigned last August.
Also on Tuesday’s agenda:
The purchase of replacement rifles for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Granting the Fairgrounds Management the authority to accept payments by credit or debit cards.
The Commissioners will also present Service Awards to county employees with 10 years of service.
County Commissioners meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the County Courthouse in downtown Brenham.
