COOKIES AND CREAM ANNOUNCED AS THIRD FLAVOR TO RETURN TO MARKET
Blue Bell Creameries announced Wednesday morning that Cookies and Cream will be the third flavor to be introduced back onto the market beginning August 31.
In the past couple of days, Homemade Vanilla and Dutch Chocolate have been announced as the first two flavors to be reintroduced into the market next Monday.
The creameries in Brenham and Oklahoma have been shut down since April after a listeria scare.
The Alabama plant began producing ice cream in late July. The plants in Brenham and Oklahoma remained closed as of now.

However, as someone who cares about the entire Blue Bell family and is ready to see this great local product coming back to market, I want to see the updates continue. I love the ice cream, however I am more excited about this large local employer coming back online and calling back workers who have been furloughed or laid off, Our community and our economy needs Blue Bell back up and running. This company was always good to our community and I have every faith that our community is going to be good to Blue Bell. I am ready to have the Best Ice Cream in the Country back!
I watched Bluebell grow up as a young boy we lived on creamery st across from the old plant. Bluebell is close to my heart and I wish them the very best. GOD BLESS BLUEBELL.
