COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

Washington County Judge John Brieden says it’s time for the county to renew its Hazard Mitigation Plan with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and that’s what the county commissioners will do when they meet Tuesday at the courthouse.

Judge Brieden says they have been working on the plan to deal with disasters for over a year, something they need to do so the county can access FEMA Funds in the case of a disaster.
