COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONSIDER OIL EXPLORATION ITEMS TUESDAY

  

Oil and gas drilling activity is picking up in the county judging by the number of related items on next week’s County Commissioners meeting agenda.

The commissioners will consider approving several temporary water lines for oil exploration. One is for Select Energy Services along Lange Lake Road, Hummingbird Road, and across Old Mill Creek Road, Pecan Mill Lane and Indian Creek Lane.  Another temporary water line will be for Enervest Operating Company and will cross Christian Cemetery Road.  The will also consider a new Natural Gas Pipeline along Wickle Road in Precinct 4.  The will also consider road crossings for seismic testing cables on 10 roads in Precinct 4.

Also on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners will consider a road bore on Lakewood Circle for PGMS – Central Washington County Water Supply. They will also discuss the purchase of Windows Surface Pro Computers for the four Justices of the Peace out of the JP Technology Fund.  They are also scheduled to consider a contract with Personnel Services for temporary employees to work the County Spring Cleanup event.

The County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the Washington County Courthouse.
