COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS ‘NO THRU’ ROAD SIGNS, TUESDAY

  

 

Washington County Commissioners are expected to approve a pair of road sign postings when they meet Tuesday morning.

Commissioners will open their meeting with a pair of public hearings concerning: No Thru signs on William Penn Road, from FM 390 to State Highway 105; and similar signs on Hohenwalde School Road and Old Mill Creek Road.

Commissioners are then expected to approve the addition of the signs.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting:

Commissioners will hear the 2020 Road Report from the County Engineer and the 2020 County Sheriff’s Report.

They will also discuss advertising for bids for the Washington County EMS hangar facility completion.

They are also expected to approve the administrative agreement between the Washington County Air EMS Medical Director and Scott & White Clinic.

The commissioners will also hear reports from: EMS, E911 and Veterans’ Service Office.

Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the County Courthouse Annex.

  1. So Roads are paid or maintained with funds from all tax payers in the county but only a select few private ppl can use them??

  2. What do they mean by No Thru. What does it stop from going thru. Do they have to clarify what type of vehicle is a no thru?
