COUNTY MOVES FORWARD WITH ENHANCED EMS FOR CHAPPELL HILL

  

Washington County Commissioners Court met this morning (Tuesday) which lead to the approval to place an advanced community paramedic (ACP) in the Chappell Hill area and eastern portions of Washington County. This placement will enhance medical services for those in the Chappell Hill area.

The vehicle for the ACP will be funded by the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and more will be funded partially by the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce.

During today’s (Tuesday) meeting, the Commissioners Court also approved the reappointment of John Gunn and Roger Chambers to the Tax-Phase-In Compliance Review Committee. Also accepted, a bid for renovations to the booking, picket, and interview areas located at the Washington County Jail in order to achieve much needed updates.

  1. One simple word here…..privatize. Would solve many more problems than our present, always in the red WCEMS will ever be able to handle. And before people start screaming at me…..I support the actual EMT’s and paramedics on the ground, just not its poor leadership and county officials that continually depend on public fear of the unknown to further their agendas. And that’s the way it looks to this Chappell Hill Resident.
