CROSS WALK IN REMEMBRANCE OF GOOD FRIDAY

A group of Christians carried a large wooden cross down Market Street this morning (Friday) in remembrance of Good Friday.  The group was made up of members of several local churches.  They stopped to pray for schools, the church, and government at several locations along the way.  The Cross Walk went down Market Street to the courthouse then back up Market Street.  Several people stopped to join the group and many waved and honked their horns to acknowledge them.

  1. I saw them when I was driving thru town! I thought what a great idea! It was very good to see them out there! We all need to remember it is about Jesus and not eggs and bunnies! He gave it all to save us from what we deserved! I want to salute and thank everyone who participated!
