CUB FOOTBALL PREPARES FOR OPENER WITH LAMAR

The Brenham Cubs are getting ready for the 2014 season opener Friday night at Houston Lamar.

The Cubs now get ready for the opener Friday night at Delmar Stadium in Houston against the Lamar Texans.

The Texans are the favorite to win district 20/6A, and expected to make a deep run into the 6A playoffs.

Coach West says the Cubs will be very busy getting ready for a tough team Friday night…

Kickoff at Delmar Stadium is set for 7:00, Friday night.  The game can be heard live on KWHI and www.kwhi.com beginning with the pre-game show at 6:30.

The Cubs also invite the public out to meet the 2014 team, Wednesday night at their annual Meet the Cubs night at 7:00 at Cubs Stadium.
