CUBETTES SOFTBALL VISITS RUDDER FRIDAY NIGHT

The Brenham Cubettes face a must-win situation tonight, when they travel to Bryan to face Rudder in District 19/5A softball.

The Cubettes (17-9/5-6) are currently in fifth-place in the district, trailing Waller, Magnolia and A&M Consolidated—all tied for second at 8-3.

Brenham must win out, and one of the three teams at 8-3 must lose all three.

The Cubettes are coming off a 13-2 win Tuesday over Paetow, while Rudder (2-9) fell to Consolidated, 18-3.

First pitch in Bryan is set for 6:30.  The game can be heard live on AM-1280 KWHI, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com beginning with the pregame show at 6:10.
