CUBS 2019 FOOTBALL SEASON SAW MANY MILESTONES

The recent release of official statistics for the 2019 Brenham Cubs football season shows a number of athletes will be added to the record book to be released at the start of the 2020 campaign.

Last year, quarterback Garrison Weiss had ninth-best season in Cub history, throwing for 1906 yards and 21 touchdowns, placing him fourth on the career passing list with 3660 yards and 32 touchdowns over two seasons.

Jackson Mueller turned in the 19^th top receiving season with 28 catches for 591 yards and six touchdowns.  Mueller finishes his career 12^th on the all-time Cubs list with 58 catches for 1002 yards and seven touchdowns.  Mueller also had the 18^th most productive game against Marble Falls, with five receptions for 149 yards and two scores.

Yann Toussom caught 34 passes for 563 yards and seven touchdowns, placing him 24^th on the single-season list.  Toussom is 16^th on the all-time list with 57 catches for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Trayveon Britton has the 14^th biggest game ever by a Cub receiver with six catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns in the playoffs against Alice.

Daylonn McCowan’s 16 touchdowns and 102 points place him 15^th on the list for touchdowns in a season and 16^th on the single-season points list.  McCowan is also ninth on the career touchdown list with 27.
