CUBS 2019 FOOTBALL SEASON SAW MANY MILESTONES

 

Garrison Weiss (Mark Whitehead)

The recent release of official statistics for the 2019 Brenham Cubs football season shows a number of athletes will be added to the record book to be released at the start of the 2020 campaign.

Jackson Mueller (Mark Whitehead)

Last year, quarterback Garrison Weiss had ninth-best season in Cub history, throwing for 1906 yards and 21 touchdowns, placing him fourth on the career passing list with 3660 yards and 32 touchdowns over two seasons.

Jackson Mueller turned in the 19th top receiving season with 28 catches for 591 yards and six touchdowns.  Mueller finishes his career 12th on the all-time Cubs list with 58 catches for 1002 yards and seven touchdowns.  Mueller also had the 18th most productive game against Marble Falls, with five receptions for 149 yards and two scores.

Trayveon Britton (Mark Whitehead)

Yann Toussom caught 34 passes for 563 yards and seven touchdowns, placing him 24th on the single-season list.  Toussom is 16th on the all-time list with 57 catches for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Trayveon Britton has the 14th biggest game ever by a Cub receiver with six catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns in the playoffs against Alice.

Daylonn McCowan
(Mark Whitehead)

Daylonn McCowan’s 16 touchdowns and 102 points place him 15th on the list for touchdowns in a season and 16th on the single-season points list.  McCowan is also ninth on the career touchdown list with 27.
