CUBS BASEBALL ALUMNI FUNDRAISER SET FOR SATURDAY

Tickets are on sale for Saturday night's 2020 Brenham Baseball Alumni Banquet.

The annual fundraiser for the Cubs Baseball team is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Brenham Firemen’s Training Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the event.

This year’s banquet will honor the 2009 Cubs State Semifinalist team and will provide a preview of the upcoming season and an introduction to the new coaching staff.

The guest speaker will be the head coach of the 2009 team, Jim Long.

Tickets are $20 per person, with a corporate table for eight available for $400. There will also be a silent auction and raffle.

Funds from the banquet benefit the Cub Baseball program, Alumni Association scholarships, improvements to the baseball field at Firemen’s Park and other needs of the program.
