CUBS BASEBALL PLAYER ZACK BARNES HOME AFTER INJURY

  

Brenham Cubs baseball player Zack Barnes was released from the Texas Christians Hospital in Houston after a terrifying accident before a Friday night Cubs’ baseball game. t.

Brenham Cubs baseball player Zack Barnes, had to be airlifted to the Texas Children’s Hospital Friday night after he was struck with a baseball during the pre-game warm ups, before the game with Montgomery at Fireman’s Park. 

Barnes, a junior second baseman, was examined at the Brenham Scott and White Hospital before being taken to the Texas Children’s Hospital for further treatment.  Reports from the family say he suffered a cerebral hemorrhage due to the injury.  The report further says he will not be able to engage in any physical activity for a month.
