CUBS GET EARLY LEAD AND NEVER LOOK BACK

The Brenham Cubs jumped out to a 26-12 lead after the first period and that is all they needed as they defeated Magnolia 70-59. Antoine Lister led the Cubs with 18 points, followed by Chase Brooks 13 and Caleb Hill 11 points. The Cubs are now 16-8 on the year and 7-2 in 19-5A. The Cubs will take their talent on the road Tuesday to Tomball. Tip-off is set for 7:30pm.
