CUBS NEW BASEBALL COACH MEETS THE PUBLIC

The community got its first chance to meet new Brenham baseball coach Chris Griffin at a reception last night at Brenham High School.
Griffin, the former head coach at Klein Collins, was recently named to the position.
He was the head coach at Klein Collins since 2013, winning seven district championships in eight years.
Griffin says he’s very excited about the opportunity to coach at Brenham…
Griffin, who was named District Coach of the Year five times, says he’s looking forward to becoming a part of the history of Cubs baseball…
He says the next couple of weeks will be spent getting his feet firmly planted on the ground…
Coach Chris Griffin will appear Monday on the Brenham Sports Line at 5:30 on KWHI.
