CUBS SQUARE OFF WITH EAST VIEW IN DISTRICT FOOTBALL

The Brenham Cubs will have their hands full tonight when the travel to Georgetown to face unbeaten East View in District 13/5A DII action.

The Cubs enter the game 3-1 on the season after their district opening win last Friday over Cedar Creek, 44-20.  The Patriots (4-0/1-0) rolled over Marble Falls, 44-6.

Cubs head coach Eliot Allen says East View executes very well on both sides of the ball…

On the season, the Cubs have 902 yards rushing and 856 yards passing.  Coach Allen says they must continue that offensive balance…

After dropping their season opener at Magnolia West, the Cubs have won three in a row.  Allen says they can’t look back at the last three wins and must concentrate on the matter at hand…

 

Kick off tonight is set for 7:00 at East View.  The game can be heard live on AM 1280 KWHI, FM 101.7 and www.kwhi.com, beginning at 6:30.
