TANNER DAVID WINS WASHINGTON COUNTY SPELLING BEE

  

Tanner David a fifth grader at St. Paul’s Christian Day School won this year’s Washington County Spelling Bee after fifteen rounds with 24 competitors at Krause Elementary School Tuesday (last) night.

David spelled the word ‘altruism’ to win.

Tanner, and second place finisher Anna Longhoffer of Brenham Junior High School,  and Micah Andrejzczak of Alton Elementary School, will continue in next months’ regional spelling bee that will be held some time next month.

The top three finishers also won cash prizes from KWHI.
