EARLY VOTING FOR PRIMARY RUNOFFS TOTALS 236 AFTER THREE DAYS

Today (Thursday) is the last day this week of early voting for the Republican and Democratic Primary Runoffs.

According to Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel, Wednesday brought in 54 Republican voters and 34 Democratic voters.  Through three days of early voting, there have been 236 ballots cast, 128 Republican and 108 Democratic.

Early voting will continue today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.  The Annex will be closed tomorrow (Friday) due to a declared holiday in observance of Independence Day.

Early voting will resume July 6-10.  Rothermel says there will be extended voting hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, to help those who may not have time to make it to the Annex during normal working hours.
