EARLY VOTING NUMBERS STAY STRONG

  

The second day of early voting brought in steady numbers for the Blinn and Brenham elections.

Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel said another 177 people voted Tuesday in the Blinn election, matching Monday’s total.  The City of Brenham election saw 159 votes cast, up 15 votes from Monday.

Through Tuesday, 354 votes have been cast in the Blinn election, and 303 in the Brenham election.

Rothermel reminds voters that there is reserved parking in front of the Washington County Courthouse Annex, located at 100 South Park Street.

Rothermel also says anyone finding it difficult to enter the polling place can vote curbside by sending in someone with the voter’s ID.  A ballot can then be brought out to them.
