EARLY VOTING RESUMES AT COURTHOUSE ANNEX

  

 

Early voting has resumed in the Republican and Democratic runoff elections in Washington County.

Balloting is currently taking place at the Washington County Courthouse Annex.

According to Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel, there were 53 voters in the Republican run-off and 31 voters on the Democratic side, for a total of 84 total voters, Monday.

The total number of votes cast stands at 422—248 Republicans and 174 Democrats.

The Democratic ballot includes: US Senate candidate between, Royce West and MJ Hegar; and District 10 Congressional candidate between, Mike Siegel and Pritesh Ghandi.

The Republican ballot features just one race, for Court of Appeals between Terry Adams and James Lombardino.

Extended hours continue today (Tuesday) from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  For the remainder of the week, Wednesday through Friday, voting is from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Early voting ends Friday.  Election Day is next Tuesday.

Early voting is taking place in the Courthouse Annex on South Park Street.  There is curbside voting available for those voters who may find it difficult to make it into the polling place.
