EARLY VOTING TURNOUT SURPASSES 2016 HEADING INTO FINAL WEEK

The number of early voters in Washington County for November’s general election has passed 2016’s early voting totals with one week remaining.

County Clerk Beth Rothermel said an even 400 voted on Saturday and another 240 voted on Sunday, bringing the 13-day total to 10,440 in-person early voters.

2020's turnout now exceeds the 9,730 early voters from 2016's presidential election.

This is the final week of early voting at the Washington County Courthouse Annex, which will be open today (Monday) through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Early voting ends on Friday.

Voters waiting until Election Day on November 3rd to cast a ballot will have to go to their correct polling location.  There are 15 polling locations throughout the county, and a list of them can be seen online at www.co.washington.tx.us.

Election Day polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
