EIGHT SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
Eight people have been sentenced after pleading guilty to various charges in 21st District Court this week.
24-year old Ashlee Nicole Schwartz of Brenham was sentenced to four years in prison for a 2017 arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance.
23-year old Spencer Rashaud Scott of Sealy received two years in prison for a February charge of Possession of a Prohibited Substance in Correctional Facility.
41-year old Matthew Garrett Polk of Brenham was sentenced to 10 months in Jail for two counts of Forgery of a Financial Instrument – a State Jail Felony. Polk was also ordered to pay $220.00 restitution.
31-year old Cory Nicholas Deaeth of Washington was placed on five years’ probation and fined $1000 for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle- a -Third Degree Felony. He was also fined $1000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
30-year old Eric James Vanhowten of Montgomery was placed on five years’ probation for Assault of a Family Member Impede Breath with a Previous Conviction – a Second Degree Felony. He was also fined $750 and ordered to perform 250 hours community service.
22-year old Alineicia Nichole Charna Ewing of Brenham received six years’ probation and 200 hours of community service on two charges from this Apris: Harassment by Person in Correctional Facility and Assault of a Peace Officer.
49-year old Randall Wayne Currie of Brenham was placed on three years’ probation for Possession of Controlled Substance. He was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 100 hours community service.
And, 45-year old Amy Rae Holcomb of Brenham received three years’ probation for Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also fined $500 and ordered to perform 200 hours community service.
