EMMA LISCHKA CROWNED AUSTIN CO. FAIR QUEEN

Royalty was crowned Thursday night at the Austin County Fairgrounds, as a new Fair Queen was announced.

Emma Lischka was named 2019 Austin County Fair Queen.  Lischka was also the Ticket Queen runner-up, selling $23,396 in tickets.

First runner-up for Fair Queen was Maggie Harkey, and second runner-up was Kaylin Krebs.  Krebs was also Ticket Queen with $29,595 in tickets sold, and Miss Congeniality.

Altogether, the 11 queen candidates sold $164,833 in tickets for this year’s fair.

Activities continue today (Friday) in Bellville, with the youth auction sale buyers appreciation dinner at 10:30 a.m., and the sale at 11:30 a.m.  You can hear live reports from the dinner and the auction on KWHI and KTEX-106.

Taking the stage tonight are Robert Ray at 8 p.m., and an Urban Cowboy Reunion at 10 p.m.
