Available scholarships are located on our website acbv.org/scholarships.  \nThe College Arts Scholarship is open to all graduating High School seniors in Brazos\, Burleson\, Grimes\, Leon\, Madison\, Robertson\, and Washington counties who will attend an accredited college or university with a course of study in the arts\, culture\, or heritage fields. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Independence Historical Society\, the choir of St Peter’s Episcopal Church  and their director\, Dr. Joanne Clark will present a program of early Texas music from 1820 – 1870 for the community on Friday\, March 11\, at 7:00 pm in the Church sanctuary.  The program will also feature Dr. Wendy Bergin\, flute and piccolo\, and Brenda Haverly\, soprano.  Familiar hymns\, cowboy songs\, patriotic war tunes  and Texas songs popular during  those years will be included. At the conclusion of the concert\,there will be a sing-a-long with everyone participating.  The concert is free and open to the public.
