SUMMARY:Heart of Texas Corvair Club Anniversary Regional Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Check out the great looking classic Corvair cars in Brenham this weekend when the Heart of Texas Corvair Club holds its 25th anniversary regional meeting. The association was founded in 1997 with four clubs – Corvair Houston\, North Texas Corvair Association-DFW Area\, Alamo City Corvair Association and Lone Star Corvair Club – Austin. \nThe Club’s activities begin Friday\, May 5\, with a full day of cruising around Washington County. First\, a historic tour of Brenham followed by a stop at Blue Bell Creameries. Then a drive to Chappell Hill for lunch and a visit to the Chappell Hill Lavender Farm. Antique Rose Emporium is the final stop for the day; the group will then gather at The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre for a Cinco de Mayo celebration. \nSaturday May 6 kicks off with the cars participating in Brenham’s Maifest Parade\, followed by a car show highlighting these unique vehicles at Henderson Park from noon-3 p.m.  The evening concludes with a banquet at The Barnhill Center. \n
