DESCRIPTION:Main Street Brenham’s annual winter wine walk will offer visitors the opportunity to sample wines at many different shops and businesses on Saturday\, January 18th from 3 to 7 p.m.  Tickets are $35 in participating stores and $40 online at www.downtownbrenham.com/swirl through December 31st.  After that date\, tickets go up to $40 in stores and $45 online.  \nTickets will be exchanged for commemorative wine glasses and wristbands on the day of the event\, starting at 2 p.m.\, at The Barnhill Center.

DESCRIPTION:A growing number of Washington County residents are meeting weekly to improve their speaking and leadership skills with Toastmasters.  Every Monday evening the aspiring Toastmasters have prepared and delivered speeches\, responded to impromptu questions\, and given and received constructive feedback\, all within a supportive community. Are you looking for a fun way to improve your communication and build skills to help in your career?  Join our 2025 kickoff on January 6 at 5:30 pm.  You will now be able to participate in the Brenham Toastmasters group in-person AND ONLINE\, beginning January 6\, 2025.  In-person meetings are held at the Brenham Police Department Community Room located at 1800 Longwood Drive from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.  All guests are welcome\, and no advance preparation is necessary. However\, RSVP’s would be appreciated. You must RSVP for the ONLINE meeting in order to get a ZOOM link.
