DESCRIPTION:The August meeting of the Central Texas Beekeepers Association will be held on Thursday\, August 25th in the VIP Building of the Washington County Fairgrounds. Our schedule for the evening is:  \n·       Advisory Council will not be meeting this month.  \n·       5:30 – 6:30; Youth Apprentice Program: Tim will be presenting “Pests and Diseases Part 1: Diseases that can affect the Honey Bee and what can be done about them.” This session is open to anyone\, adults\, and youth\, that would like to attend and learn.   \n·       6:30 – 7:30; Covered Dish Meal: Please bring a dish to share\, we supply the drinks. We have been close to running out of food recently\, so we are asking that you bring just a little bit more to share. \n·       7:30 – 8:30; Main Meeting: Our main speaker this month will be Jeff Murrays from Wildflyer Mead Company. Come hear the Murrays’ story and learn how to turn your excess honey into the drink of the Gods. We will also have our regular features like our Book of the Month\, the Plant of the Month\, the Gadget of the Month\, and some great door prizes.  \nWe will be sharing our main meeting via zoom for those that cannot attend in person.
